The Oakmont Fire Department is 100% VOLUNTEER establishment.
Joining the Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department means becoming an integral part of a dedicated team committed to protecting our community and surrounding areas.
NO EXPIERENCE NESCESSARY
You will receive training in life saving techniques, emergency response protocols and advanced fire fighting strategies, teaching you invaluable skills that extend far beyond the realm of firefighting.

Other Opportunities
Fire Vest Scholarship
The Allegheny County and CCAC FireVest scholarship is a great opportunity for firefighters looking to pursue a college degree. To be considered you must dedicate 5 years to a fire company within Allegheny County and complete any training necessary to become a firefighter. The Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department is a sponsor for our members that wish to apply for the FireVest scholarship.
